I use TTouch as one of my training methods which means that I will spend time observing your dog closely, looking for changes in their coat pattern, fur colour, texture, dull or patchy, dry or oily? I will also be keen to look at their posture and how they hold themselves when sitting, standing or lying down as well as their general conformation.
When using TTouch methods I will be feeling for possible warm or cool areas, fluidity of skin, "no go" areas as well as areas of under/over developed or tight muscle and how your dog moves and interacts with their surroundings. We will also chat about the equipment you curently use on your dog such as collar, harness and leads, beds, bowls as well as your food choice and their daily routine.
We will begin with some basic ground work which helps to settle and gain your dogs focus, I will then develop into body work using a variety TTouches, and lifts and slides which are all tailored to help your dog. You will be guided through each step allowing you to carry on working between sessions.
